Healthy Eating + Personal Training

Women always ask me how to “shrink.” How can we all look slender and toned? Exercise and eating well is the key.
I tell my clients how important it is to create a workout strategy that focuses on conditioning aerobically, working with
lighter weights and even using their own body weight as the perfect resistance. These tips will help you shape and
sculpt your body. If your goal is to show off your muscles in their most natural form this is the way to do it. Eating well
to compliment your exercise regimen is essential the two tips I live by are: no sugar and no salt. Hydrate—with lots of
water, always— as well as white or green tea. These few tips will help facilitate natural detoxification on a daily basis.

Get Veggie With It

Juice raw vegetables and see the difference in your skin and energy. Since the nutrients found in vegetables are located
within the dense fibers of the food, when eating vegetables whole it takes longer for the fiber to break down and the
nutrients to be absorbed. Juicing raw vegetables provides your body with dense nutrients in a matter of minutes.
Remember to save your juicing remains—they make a wonderful green soup.

Good Skin Maintenance

All skin types can be corrected and maintained through nutrition and education. When your skin starts drying up it means
it’s too acidic. When your skin is sagging there’s not enough protein. And when your skin starts to breakout, it’s because
your organs are stressed. Your liver cannot detox on a daily basis. Your skin also needs to have cellular respiration in
order for cells to survive. If the upper epidermis layer is acidic, it closes off the oxygen supply to the lower layers, where
regeneration and healing take place. Oxygen can be interrupted as well if the upper epidermis has too much dead cell
build up. Dead cells accumulate much faster if the skin does not receive nutrients on all levels.
